"I  had a feeling Sage Homes would be the right decision for us after two families recommended them to us on the same day. At that point, we were very close to selecting another builder but were hesitant for several reasons.

I contacted Sage Homes at 10 p.m. on a Sunday and got a response right away — and the rest is history! Sage Homes has impressed us from the very beginning. When I decided to build, I started going to open houses and talking to many people about the experiences that they had with their builders, talking with builders to get a feel for if they could provide me with the home that I was looking for. When I talked with Kristy for the first time, her answers to almost all of my questions checked the YES box. I also knew several who had built with Sage and all the gave them very high marks.

Meeting with Chris was an amazing experience as he was able to design the house by listening to all of my concerns, wants, and don't wants. He offered options for things that I did not even know existed (grocery door!). Ultimately, the final design had everything that I wanted and more.

Throughout the process, Chris and Kristy we very upfront with me about the challenges of the building during the pandemic and the supply shortages. Worst-case scenarios were presented to me but thankfully those were not the final outcome. They were very fair, responsive, and flexible, and we mutually agreed to navigate these difficult times together. I understood that Chris had a business to run and they understood that wanted a house but had limits to what I could do as well.

The build process was amazing! Tyler did an amazing job of keeping the house on track and answering my questions. Yes, there were delays but I was kept informed throughout the entire process. Many of the things were out of their control. If there was an issue that presented, the team was quick to resolve the issue and ensure that I was satisfied with the outcome.

The product selection and design process was so much fun. While I knew what I wanted, Emily was able to really bring that feeling of home to my new house. Things that would add personal touches that I look at now and think - I am SO GLAD that I did that! When I was contemplating something but having a hard time visualizing it, she had photos to help with the process. I really valued your eye and design suggestions because she was able to see what my vision was.

Post sale, their team of people is still here for me. Josh and his team have been amazing when I had questions or issues. I could not be happier with my selection of builders and would encourage anyone to sit down and have a conversation with Sage. I doubt you will walk away disappointed. Our home built with Sage Homes is the perfect fit for our family. We had ideas on a floor plan we would like to build and in meeting with Chris; he paired our ideas with one of his existing plans. The finished home has all we wanted and more, with friends and visitors complimenting on the craftsmanship and livability. We have been in our home for four weeks and the old adage “time flies when you’re having fun” rings as true as

We waited to write this response until we had been in our new home for three months, allowing the "glow" of a new home to subside a bit so that a thoughtful review could be provided. The building process with Sage was easy from start to finish. Communication from the builder was open and transparent, especially in regard to pricing and we built in the crazy housing market of 2021. Emily made finish selections a breeze and her taste is perfect. Kristi walked us through the final close and has been very responsive to our many questions. Our walk-throughs both for electric and final were thorough and all parties were informative and had information readily available. Issues (there are always a few with a new build) have been promptly addressed and Josh is truly easy to work with on these. We love our new home and would definitely build with Sage again for both the quality and the value of their homes.

The team at Sage Homes went above and beyond to provide a very speedy and quality customer service experience throughout what would normally be a stressful process. We weren't the easiest of customers as we had a lot of questions due to being our first time building, but very happy we chose Sage Homes as they worked hard to keep costs in check, while still meeting our requests and keeping us calm and confident from start to finish. The process of designing the home and selections was very smooth and appears to be a well oiled machine. I have recommended them to anyone asking for a good builder and will continue to do so. Since moving in, we have had a couple of minor fix requests and they have been very speedy in supporting us directly or indirectly with their contractors to remedy any issues. Five stars for sure as a rating and can't thank the team enough for their hard work on building our beautiful dream home!!

We built with Sage Homes this year and loved our experience. It began with Kristy, who was very responsive at answering questions regarding the building/planning process. Chris was fantastic at turning the plan we picked into our own custom home. Emily was by far the rockstar throughout the process, helping with picks and coordinating all of our questions. Lastly, Zach did a great job ensuring our house was staying on track and always answered any questions we had. Overall, the process was great and we appreciate Sage Homes process and transparency. My husband and I just celebrated our 1 year in our Sage Home. The process of picking out all of our design choices with Emily went smoothly and she was able to give her professional opinion to make sure it all flowed nicely. We chose to build with Sage after falling in love with the quality of their homes while attending open houses. After falling in love with the work and the quality of work Sage
produced at Home Expo Show,2021 we reached out to Kristy during the holiday
season of 2021 to start the process of a house search. 

Right from the very beginning, starting with the timely
responses to the guidance we received during the house and property hunt she
was AMAZING. All our questions and concerns were patiently answered and
there was no pressure on us to commit to buying a house with Sage. As first
time home owners this was crucial in us deciding to build our custom home
with Sage.

Every stage of the entire process -- deciding on the floor plan
and making structural changes to the floor plan to the closing was very smooth.
We also appreciate how the entire team helped us along during our decision
making process, guiding us and being honest with us. 

Along the build process, we were amazed as we witnessed the
drive to give us the best was evident across all teams and vendors that were
involved with the build. This solidified that we made the right choice by
choosing Sage. Never once during the build and after the closing did we ever
feel that our voices and our concerns were neglected. 

It's close to a year and we are still in awe at the beauty of
the home - inside + out and impressed by the quality of it.

❗️Warning❗️ Long and honest review below. If you want candid feedback from someone who waited 2 years to give a full and honest review, keep reading.

I should start by saying that I do this kind of work and have high standards for how things should be done. That coupled with my OCD make me a challenge for builders.

After meeting with several builders we found on Google, we quickly found Sage was the one for us. They initially met and walked us through their in progress builds to show us quality and layout. They showed us what they considered their "standard" finish options which were upgrades with 3 of the other 4 builders we talked to. Finally they walked us through process and talked us through the option to customize as much or as little as we wanted.

We decided to go through the process of fully customizing one of their floorplans and making it our own all the way from layout to finish. Chris (Owner) and Kristy (top tier realtor) met with us in several planning sessions to tweak and make sure everything was just right. They kept our budget in mind throughout the process and guided us to the best solutions to fit our needs and our wallets months before we were ready to dig. I believe there were 3 or 4 iterations of our home in total and the only thing we ever got from them was commitment to get it right.

With all that planning up front we were then left to sit back and watch the magic happen. The construction teams got to work led by our Superintendent, Zach who was knowledgeable, patient (as I kept stopping by to look at progress), and as consultative as everyone else in the process. He guided us through our electrical, trim and paint walk throughs and was there to help or answer questions every step of the way. We met with Emily (amazing designer) to select finishes and talk details and she provided AWESOME mood boards with our selections for us to start planning for things like furniture and decor. Emily would also provide consistent weekly updates and timelines to keep everyone organized.

Sage delivered on everything. They hit the exact timeline they quoted. There were no "gotchas" or things that we didnt account for. They were responsive, consultative, and geniunely cared about what they were delivering. The house was more beautiful then we could have imagined and we came in under budget!!!!

All of that said, things happen and sometimes they aren't always great. There were some touch ups that needed complete days before closing. Our warranty contact Josh was on it and made it look perfect. About 6 months in we had some drywall cracks I would consider significant in just a few spots. Once again was on it before we even hit our 1 year drywall touch up. They also repaired a small leak in the vent for our garage heater almost same day. The plumber installed the check valve on the sump backwards but again, were out to make it right almost immediately. Other than the few initial spots we have had the normal amount of settling and after that 1 year warranty last year we haven't noticed much else. Exceptional post close service.

Sitting here two years later with so few true issues really puts things in perspective. The people make Sage Homes the amazing company it is. Chris, Kristy, Emily, Zach and all the people they are using to build your dreams into reality are amazing and provide a product better than we ever could have hoped for.

I would recommend them to anyone looking for something fully custom, something out of the box, or a blend of the two. This is the builder you need and I can't recommend them enough.
